I released a new one, yesterday, called Progression.
It’s on http://glitched.bandcamp.com/album/progression

If you like interesting sounds, beats, and melodies, with a WARP-ish slant, look no further!

Although I’d like to have the music speak for itself, it couldn’t have been made without Elektron’s intuitive and creative machines.

I have the “mixed trinity” (MDUW mkI, Monomachine SFX-6, and Analog Four) and they were used liberally on most songs of this collection.

01: progression – Eurorack modular through the Monomachine’s Dynamix compressor, Analog 4 for eerie pads. Monomachine provided the clock by way of MIDI-gate conversion, from a Doepfer Dark Energy

02: star-field a4 – Entirely done on the A4, including all beats, pads, efx

03: as if it were the first time – Monomachine SFX-6 in poly-mode

04: 4x mangnitude – MDUW through Virus TI. Ending part is Monomachine FM-DYN

05: it transforms you – I can’t remember, but I think it was FM-DYN in poly-mode

06: scarred – All SFX-6; DPRO-BBOX for drums (LFO used as a pitch envelope), a couple layers of SWAV-ENS, in poly-mode

07: it’s time to go – All MDUW including most fx; other fx were software

08: harmless (the original design) – n/a

Enjoy!

i’m a sucker for tracks like #3, 8 and especially 5 … great steel-twilight ambience on that one. you’re still getting great sounds out of the mono.

congrats on the release brother

just having a listen now - enjoying it so far.

nice work

Great work Glitched.

Nice sound design, and cool organic/glitchy feel overall. Definitely interesting enough to hold a listener’s attention, but not too hard to digest. :+1:

With so much great music out there, it comes as a high compliment that Progression can hold a listener’s attention.
One of my aims is to always keep the listener engaged; even if the pattern repeats over a few bars, there’s always something else going on.

Thanks! And special thanks to Elektron and those who have donated. Very much appreciated.

Hey, friends:

I wrote a long and quite detailed blog post about Progression:

http://www.glitched.org/up/2014/11/new-album-by-d-progression/

If you’re interested in the tech behind it, give the article a read! I used lots of Elektron MDUW, Monomachine, and AnalogFour tricks, so it might interest those who own any of those machines.

Thanks for your support!
