How do i program a prog change on ot to Syntakt in Order to change patterns. I know i have to enable The Sync sttings
PROG CH send selected on OT
PROG CH receive selected on ST
Select a MIDI channel common to both (I use 16 on all devices for this) rather than “Auto” for the Prog CH channel.
I’ve always found “Auto” a bit flakey for program changes.
EDIT: You also have to make sure that the Scale setups match for change and/or master lengths.

You bet. On Octatrack, Program Change AUTO setting doesn’t correspond to AUTO CHANNEL but to the lowest audio track midi channel. It is not sent if audio tracks midi channels are off.
So…don’t use AUTO (Sync menu)
