SHey im new here. Need Some help with syncing octatrack and A4 using midi cable.
Read the manual But dont see the midi settings for keeping them in the same bpm.
you would need to set one unit (the OT for instance) to clock send and the A4 to clock receive. might wanna send transport too. this shows for both units under the midi config. hope that helps
midi cable out from OT to midi in port of the A4. Function + project and make sure clock receive is enabled on the midi settings on the A4 and clock send is unchecked/disabled. clock send should be checked off on the OT midi settings page and clock receive should be unchecked/disabled. You will want to do the same for transport functions so you can send start/stop from the OT to the A4.
Make sure USB is disconnected on the A4 or OT in case there’s some conflict there.
If you are noticing a slight deviation on the A4 tempo display do not fret, this is normal and will bounce around by a few fractions of a bpm
