Problems: can´t send CCs to DAW/VST synth ( pitch/trigger works )/answered

So i´m on my first attempt ever to control a Software synth from a hardware sequenzer.
OSX, Live10, U-HE Repro 5. DT via USB to DAW

Triggers and pitch is working fine ! Velocity response works also,
BUT: i cannot map my encoders ( from midi track) to control the cutoff, it is not recognized.

i have activated the midi CC encoders ( miditrack, Filter page) ( not new to this as i do the midi2CV thing sometimes)
all the midi settings in PRG have been donne. seems good as pitch and trigger is working.
My VST is sequenzed from the DT. works

i activate midi mapping dialog in Live but no encoders from DT are recognised for midi.
I´m not new to midi mapping in Live. works fine with my Novation controller just right now.
so must be something within DT that i overlook.
What can i do ?
What are you doing to control a VSTs parameters ?

Yeah. I tried this the other day and had the same problem.

I am guessing that midi through USB will be enabled with OB 1.2.

I don’t think the midi out has been enabled through USB in the firmware yet. That being said, I have had no problem hooking the midi out from the DT into other hardware midi inputs. I am guessing if you had an available midi input on your soundcard then you would have a work-around.

Edit: I have used my AK as a midi controller through USB, so I definitely know it is possible.

ok, i see. gonna try.
But: interestingly is the USB midi out working with my midi2CV devices, incl. the CC encoders
Have FH-1 and shuttle control,
but they both have had problems to get it running, and had to do some reprogramming.
( it was finally Andrew from Expert sleepers who figured the problematic part out out and shared it also with Endorphin.es )
if i think closer, i´d guess it could be the same problem with DAW then.
i mean, midi IS running thru USB !

funny thing to control my VSTs from the DT, as i have no longer any synths beside some eurorack

Great, Din-Midi out is doing the CC thing.
my computer is now my new hardware synth also for the DT, hehe.
I hate sequenzing in the DAW. I never do it. just play my patches by hand.
