I purchased an A4 a few days ago (on the 18th) and am experiencing what may be an issue. I am completely new to Elektron so this could be entirely user error.
When I am playing any keyboard, including the onboard key buttons, Trk 1 is always playing. Does not matter if the track is muted or if 2,3 or 4 are selected, I can always hear track 1 playing. Is there a setting or something that I am missing? Seems strange that when trying to play notes on Trk 2, Trk1 will play those same notes. As mentioned before even with Trk 1 muted, upon key press sound still comes from that channel.
Is this normal? If not how can I correct it? It is mildly annoying/frustrating to try and create a sound on a new track but can’t stop from hearing another.

A4 is really simple, but you have to know your beast!
coming to your issue:
check POLY CFG in Kit Menu.
at least go to the manual and check for that.
the fact you still have the sound even if the track is muted is completely normal.
Mutes serves for muting triggers, but not the track from playing
I did check the Poly settings and that was not the issue. After updating to the newest OS the problem was still happening. Additionally when I would try and mute Trk 2, 3 or 4, Trk 1 would mute as well.
Did a factory reset and the mute issue went away but the notes always playing from Trk 1 remained present. Again did an update to the newest OS. Problem remained. Flashed a previous OS version, then unplugged the unit for 20 or so minutes while I used a friends A4. After unplugging his and re-hooking up mine all of the issues were gone. Not sure what the cause was but everything appears to be functioning correctly now.
