Hi,I’m nadalesh,from Tuscany,in Italy. I’m sorry for the non-official presentation but i don’t know where i must post it…
I go to the point,i have an octatrack (obviously ahah) and i have a problem with a still sounding track(it’s correct to say?).I’ll explain it better; after a random combination of buttons sounds only one track (the fifth) and it’s impossibile to mute it.If i change the level (volume) or some effects nothing changes to the sound…the only way to mute the track is to play stop or set the master volume to -64 (very useless)…Someone can help me? Thanks a lot and have a nice day !
Possibly the sample is looping? Press the Track button + Bank/Edit to get to the Sample menus and then press Effect 1/Attr and turn Loop Mode off.
Otherwise, look at the HOLD and REL parameters in the Amp Page. Set both to a value lower than INF.
Does that help?
Welcome to the Octatrack. It’s a steep learning-curve, but you will find it is worth it!
Hi,Thanks for the answer, probably the sample is looping and i can’t stop it…but i can’t Open the samples menù with track button+ bang edit too
Okay, try this:
-
Double-click the Track button for the Slot List.
-
Highlight the Sample being used by the Track.
-
Press Function + Bank for the Sample Menu. (Hold Function and then press Bank).
-
Choose the Attr Page and set Loop to Off.
