Problem to solve : Keystep + Uc33 with Octatrack

Hello,

I don’t have an midi quadra in or something like that, but i’m trying to getting 2 midis in into the octatrack.
I want to control the octatrack with my UC33 and at the same time, control my synths thru the octatrack with the keystep. Problem : The keystep needs to have a Clock into the midi IN to be synchronize. So i can’t do :
Uc33 OUT > Midi IN Keystep (THRU) > Keystep Out > IN OT.
I also have a clock out on my tanzbär with CV
Do you think something is possible ?

Hmm just a suggestion if it’s possible. UC33 and Keystep in a midi-merger and then to octatrack. From octatrack go to the synths. You probably have to look at the midi settings in the octatrack then.

Isn’t UC33e able to merge incoming MIDI with own data stream? (can’t recall now, sold it some time ago)
If yes then you would go Keystep -> UC33e -> OT -> Keystep.

Edit: Please, igonore the above, I just checked UC33e manual and it’s neither forwarding MIDI IN, nor merging to MIDI OUT.
