Pro Tools and Octatrack

Hi,
how can I work with Pro Tools and Octatrack togheter?
How can synced them?

Is there some producer that work in this way?

I mainly produce song so Pro Tools is my field to record but now I begin to work with the Octatrack….

I apologize if I am missing the point, but do you have a sound card with a midi port or a dedicated usb to midi device?

Octatrack can be the master or the slave. You need to tell the octatrack to receive and/or send clock by going into the sync (or is it midi - can’t remember of the top of my head) menu, which can be found by pressing function+mixer.
