Previewing/triggering loaded sample with effects?

After I have a sample loaded into a track, I add effects, and I want to trigger it a single time to hear how it sounds with the effects, what button combination do I press?

I’ve been just playing the pattern, and waiting for the sample to play, but that gets really annoying when I’m trying to tweak the effects just right and I have to play the whole pattern and wait to hear the sample.

Welcome.
You can play default track sample with trig 9-16, in Track mode (grid recording off).
You can also play sample slots in Slots mode.
In Slice mode you can play the sample from different start points.

Thanks for the fast response! Now I see how easy it is to do just by pressing trig 9-16.
