Preview sounds

Hey,
User experience-wise it would make sense to preview each sound both in play mode and when you just browse the library, without having to load the sound to a track. I cant get this to work.

I.e lets say you set a kickdrum patter to 4-to-the-floor, but are not happy with the sound. It would be great then to go to the sound library and browse through other kickdrum sounds to see what fits better. However, this seems easier said then done…

Maybe im doing it the wrong way, but the way I see it, I need to load each sound to a track before i can decide if its right or not. Thats 2 elektron clicks (which is not very convenient) to hear if the sound is right, and most of the time 3-many clicks to go back into the sound menu to find something else…
In total minimum 5 clicks pr sound, probably more. This is a workflow killer…

So question is; is there a easier way to work with sounds?

Correction!

I figured it out…

Press function - yes to preview in browser mode…

It would be nice to be able to preview live in play-mode though. So that I could browse live through the sound library when a track is running, and find the one best for the kit without having to load the sound

Suggestion: Before going on a “new sound” hunt save the kit. Then use function + yes while browsing sounds and having the sequencer running. If you want to go back from where you started you press no + kit to reload.
