Preventing free playing track from being stopped when changing pattern?

There is the “start silent” pattern setting for each track, which led a previously triggered sound like a long sample continue on the next pattern (when not ticked).

But the sequencer will not continue triggering new trigs on the old free playing track after changing to the new pattern, because the old track’s data is simply not there any more.
