Hello long lost friends, hope you’re all well.
Was playing the OT tonight and encountered something new to me and I’m wondering if some of you super-sleuths can help me determine what it was.
I had track 7 assigned to RECORDER7, and was recording CUE SRC3. I had a recorder trig on step 1, and a normal playback trig on step 4. In this way one can get nice repeats by cue-ing different tracks and making careful adjustments to different cue levels and such.
That’s all well and good. Here’s where it got weird.
I was selecting different tracks relatively quickly making adjustments to their different effects and cue levels, and a few times when I pressed the T7 key I would hear something like the record buffer resetting or glitching out, or perhaps track 7 being re-trigged. Now, I do use RECORD QUICK mode, but that affects pressing the [REC1/2/3] keys, not the track keys, right?
Anyway, the audio glitches were short-lived, because everything seemed to go back to normal when the pattern would loop around and the record and normal trigs would get hit again.
So, I guess my question is, what can happen when you press a track key that could potentially re-trigger either a recording or playback or change a record buffer?
Anyway, thanks in advance for your time and consideration.
