I’ve noticed that there are several presets in the factory patterns in Digitone 2 that have names that are not found in the pool or the preset manager. Could these have been created by the pattern creator and then not saved in the preset manager or the pool? Is this possible?
When you create a new project, all the tracks have presets named “New Sound”. You can create completely different sounds on each track and they will retain this name. When you save one as a preset, you can change the name. Now suppose that, instead, you load an existing preset from the Drive+ into the first track. The name changes to the name of that preset. But what you have is an independent copy of that preset. You can change it, and nothing happens to the preset on the Drive+. You can change the preset on the Drive+ (say, from another track) and nothing happens to your sound on the first track.
It is possible that the presets you are seeing in the factory patterns exist on the Drive+ under a newer name, or that they were never saved there (in which case you can do it now).
