Preferred Sample Libraries

My original intention had been to ask ya’ll if you had any suggestions on good sample libraries of finding “exotic” instruments. But then I thought it might be a good idea to round up everyone’s favorites libraries spanning all things.

I’m new to using samples. I’ve had ableton awhile but hated working on it, hence the AR.

“Exotic”:

couldn’t find anything thus far. I’ve read people suggest Silk VST from East West?

DrumMachines:

Goldbaby seems the favorite around here

Acoustic:

I’ve only used DrumDrops and they’re good enough for now.

Other:

those Multiman Sample Waves are interesting

Single cycle waveforms works great on the Analog Rytm.

A good resource is Adventure Kid Waveforms

All in one pack! You probably want to download one of the all in one pack. It contains all the single cycle wave forms. The wave format work with many samplers

And here’s the same waveforms all tuned to C by tsv

Here are all the AKWF waveforms pitched to C and in folders not more than 64 files for import to the MnM. If you want singlecycles, get the Architechtural waveforms sample library. Very comprehensive!

I have just released a new pack made with the Rytm. Working on another sample pack made on the Rytm right now and will be releasing a collection of analogue synth & bass one shots to use with the Rytm.

These are all awesome. For world instruments I was able via internet to access Garritan World Instruments which is pretty nice.

Thanks everyone for their suggestions. It’ll be fun scrummaging through these.
