Power Converter Recommendations

Hey all,

I’m based in the USA, but I recently acquired a vintage Tascam M-106 mixer from Japan. The power specs are as follows:

100V A.C.
50/60Hz.

I’ve seen some conflicting information online - do I need a step up/down converter to run this mixer using my USA 120V outlets? If so, are there any that you’d recommend? I’m a bit wary of just picking up any old random converter from Amazon.

Japanese electronics intended for 100v and 60Hz should be fine in the USA. I’ve been using a 100v Japanese hair dryer for several years and haven’t burnt the place down, yet.
