When transferring a .dtsnd file from DT it doesn’t seem to include the sample.
Changing the format of the dtprj files to .zip lets you see the samples etc. but doing the same for a dtsnd results in a zip folder that doesn’t contain a sample 
Is this expected?
It would be cool if sounds also included the sample so you could send sounds to others instead of just projects.
I’ve noticed this as well but only with the factory samples. Is this the case for you?
I haven’t tested this thoroughly but it kind of makes sense as factory samples can not be deleted and thus are in every machine.
For sounds with user samples, the dtsnd file must contain the used sample.
oh wow you’re right! didn’t realise the sound i was using was using a factory sample but I just made a new sound with my own sample and it appears
