Possible to set parts not to change machines/midi channels?

Hey,

Is it possible to set up the parts so they all follow the machine/midi channel setup of part 1 and then you can change them as need be? Right now if I switch parts it nulls all my MIDI channel settings and resets all the assigned samples on the machines which is a major pita as all I want the different parts to do is send program changes to my eventide pedals for different parts of the piece. Now I have to reassign everything! From now I’ll work in a template that deals with this but if there’s is a solution for older projects I need to change to allow dynamic program changes I’d appreciate it.

How do you copy a part? I’ve been googling away and trying various button combos with no luck
