Possible to Loop Section of Pattern?

Hi, new octatrack user here. I tried the search but didnt find anything. Is it possible to loop a section of a pattern in order to edit that section faster?

Actually not…there are some workarounds but OT definetly needs another function!

Something like (while in the Scale page) FUNCT + TRIG selects the start and the normal trig pressing select the last step…

I really wish page looping was part of the basic Elektron sequencer functionality. Could be very useful for arranging and performing.

A work around is to use song mode and set up a row to only play a certain range of steps. Too clunky to use for the aforementioned purposes.

what are some of the workarounds?

The only i know are:
• use the Arranger
• PAGE + REC (copy) the section you need to edit - then on a blank pattern paste it PAGE+STOP.
edit there then make it backwards on the main pattern
