This stuff brings me a very vivid childhood recollection. I can smell the sugar and dye through the screen!
When I was a young fella there was an awesome arcade that my friends and I would frequent. It was in a mall that was a dead mall from its very inception. It was always 3/4 empty and the only longtime tennents were said arcade and the neighbouring popcorn stall in the food court.
The popcorn was expensive and rarely any good but to this day, some 30 years later, when I smell that shit popcorn I think of that arcade and all that time and money spent being a no good mallrat. From what I recall, it was still a pretty good way to kill an afternoon with the lads.
