Thinking a female vocalist will be most appropriate at this stage.

You know, I think the guitar idea really deserves attention. Your track reminds me somehow of Mikkel Metal’s tune “Dromos” (no vocals, though), as it sounds minimal to me by all means. I am currently trying to get various techno performances out of the MnM and unfortunately haven’t got the opportunity to experiment sufficiently with this little box of endless sonic possibilities. Same plans, as yours - I am pretty sure nice female vocals could be nicely integrated even in my techno.

Tons of potential - really great stuff!

A few comments - might be the Soundcloud compression or the bad PC speakers but the mix is a little cloudy. Kinda gives it that old school underground vibe. If that’s what you are going for it’s spot on, but from what I hear pop today is much brighter.

Excellent! Enjoyed this. Hard to comment as all that seems lacking are details to build interest as the song progresses, ambient candy, and the mix, and you’re saying this is an early stage anyways. Look forward to hearing it completed.

Thanks for the feedbacks - much appreciated - and useful for perspective.

We have a range of vocalists - will make the choice when we get some top lines down - Thinking female at this point.

Still arranging - im sure the structure will change - yes more and less detail build / drop etc is needed.

Soundcloud compression does no tracks any favours - but the mix is just temp at this stage - try it on some real monitors and see how it stands up - Focals - Quested - Mackies - RCFs - Auratone - beat box and laptop monitoring here…

This track is all proudly all software - the bass playing is real - gear is still in pelicans from last my show - too busy with commercial work atm to rebuild hardware rig - the power of modern computing ! - Logic Pro 9 and a ALOT ! of plug ins :

In a strage way nice to have a break from the machines for a week or so - that said the A4 might get powered up today for some minimal action - cant wait for the new OS !!

It’s really nice. I like the vocal pitch shifting. It’s got quite a simple feel but it works. I enjoyed it. Always enjoy your stuff though. I’ve been wanting to do a synth pop type ting myself for a while now so I am a little jealous
