Thoman also got it in stock.

how is the sampler feature on it compared to say Elektron samplers?

Polyvera: only one sample at a time but great analog and early digital vibe.
Elektron: much more features

while it sounds cool like a Waldorf, personally I would get the Elektron Tonverk over this since I have the Waldorf Microwave ipad app.

why do you want to buy a Waldorf M then if you’re happy with the app?

But i might be the completely wrong guy for any advice, as some other member already said, i have a weird relationship to my synths based on their “mystic qualities” :joy:

excellent question- well because I prefer hardware knobs and the analog filters and VCAs do have an extra edge and routing options are easier and better from the Waldorf hardware to other FX pedals and synths. Also MIDI control is simpler. I am still figuring out how to control the ipad Waldorf Microwave app over MIDI from OP XY or my Hapax sequencer. But a polyphonic sampler like the Tonverk would be a more useful piece of gear to buy next over the Waldorf or any other hardware synth. Octatrack is monophonic sampler. I have plenty of poly synths in my studio that would make use of the Tonverk.

Owned for just over a week and my favourite poly synth in over three decades of music production.

Almost perfect - just needs FX parameters added to the mod matrix.
