Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere here, but I’m into polymeter and not into math so I made a quick lookup table I can reference when working with unconventional track lengths. Basically I just took every phrase length possible with a 64 step sequencer, then calculated how many steps/bars it would take to align with a traditional 4/4, 16 step phrase. I also included different sequencer resolutions as well, for working with eighth, quarter, and half notes.
I think my math is right – but like I said, I don’t really like math so if anything is wrong here just lmk.
