Poly sound

hi there… i was pressing the notes on the mini keyboard c + d + e + f … my amatour ear heared that after the first OS update my machine seemed to play 4 notes on 1 track simultaneously

i thought great, this is the poly feature

soon after this feature left my machine and pressing more than 1 note didnt bring me any chords as before.

yesterday i discovered the poly thing in the kit setting and it seems you can play all 4 tracks in unison.

so what the heck did I do to have more than 1 note simultaneously?

point me to the manual page or answer much appreciated

What do your poly settings look like? Make sure all 4 boxes are checked and the allocation below it says something other than unison.

i checked page 18 in the manual … still since I didnt change anything after the first OS update and the disappearance I still wonder if I imagined that you could play chords
right now my poly settings are all off and allocation is reset
turning these on all tracks play at once in unison… but what about the “chords” i cannot wrap my head around it

Check all 4 voices and keep allocation on reset. Make sure “play track sounds” is not turned on. You should be able to play 4 note chords.

good morning… just did what you said … assigned stock sound to track 3 (the pure sssssssssss wave ) checked all 4 voices and allocation is set to reset …
when pushing more than 1 button the sounds from the other tracks are coming through.
was that intended?
because I thought I could play a chord on just 1 track with just 1 sound … thanks for your help ihatederekreed

i think I got it!

all voices on allocation reset

use trk sound OFF

hold trig in rec mode light on

and press more than one key on the mini keyboard

Use track for sound makes each voice relative to each track respectively. With this option off you should be able to play and sequence chords per track. You are on the right path.
