Had my finger on the trigger. Didn’t pull, though.

I would’ve made the same journey with these as with the Volcas. Wanting them, getting them, loving them, tweaking the shit out of them.

But eventually outgrowing them (except for the Volca Sample).

You’d think, for the price, who cares? Isn’t fun enough of a reason to get one?

But I’m having so much fun with what I’ve got. I need focus now, to get better at playing what’s in my rig.

But really, this is a very subjective take on what seems to be great piece of gear, not only in what it offers for the money but to show that music can be made with scrap cards and some wires, and still be great.

Today, even the poorest of us can afford the stuff that helps us unleash whatever talent we might possess. For that, I’m loving these devices.
