I think you missed a big part of the Octatrack :
The Midi Tracks ! (Press MIDI button)
Check “The midi sequencer” part of the manual before going further.
The Minotaur is receiving midi notes from audio tracks (instead of midi tracks).
When you trig other tracks, it receives midi notes on the wrong channel, but there is a light.
