Plogue SFC/SNES Emulation

After years of development, Plogue have just released their super nintendo emulation. I was really impressed with their sega genesis/megadrive emulation last year, and this looks to be another great bit-accurate emu. The interesting thing is that the SNES/SFC is more of a sampler, so it focuses on being able to play back user samples as if they were on a SNES, rather than just offering you replicas of the SNES sounds. Though from listening to their examples, it sounds like you should have no problem getting pretty close to the original SNES samples just by using the samples that they include with the purchase.

There was a lot of interest in the MegaFM here, so I thought maybe this would also be worth checking out. The SNES echo/delay effect is classic!

what are your thoughts on it, have you gotten any others by plogue?

I have the portasound one - it is really nice.

I like what I’ve heard so far, funny I used to use Bidule religiously back in the day… thinking about grabbing the whole set while they’re on sale

Or another approach

One of my favourite vst plugin EVER!

I absolutely love SNES Era and warmly welcomed the release of this plugin! The most amazing feature for me is that you can load your favorite SFC soundtrack and you can grab all the instruments and play along!
