Plocks while using L/R osc

Hello dears !
Hope you are all fine in this early spring (reverb?) days…
As I really like to use the Analog four as an FX boy I’m inputing stereo sounds track 1 with the two OSC pages panned as L and R.
I play from OT a midi track which send notes to the DAW I use and the Track who receive the audio signal.
So for example : OT Midi 1 send notes to DAW and Analog four track 1 > The triggers an notes are the same in the analog four and daw and I can use analog four filter enveloppes on each trig played… Really fantastic.

But !
The Fact is that I have a problem then to use plocks on the sequencer of the A4.

because of the OT send notes, the A4 (even if trigs are recorded) cannot then use plocks of for example filters, … If I play with the filter knob I hear the inputed sound modified, but I cannot hear manual recorded knobs mouvements plocked in the A4 sequencer…

It’s a bit sad, … So Is it impossible on a midi played “input track” to hear sequencer mouvement ?

I think some of you faced the same problem…
It’s a bit disapointing …

Any advices ?

it’s not possible as you describe, the incoming MIDI takes top precedence over the internal sequencer - you could plock from the OT as a workaround or use performance mode on A4 or sequence that

Je manque un peu de ressort but yes I had the same problem with OT + A4 or MD.

CC send from OT for each parameter ? Control macros (with CCs) ?

Are those two diferents possibilities ?
I do not make differences …

Have a nice ressort.

  • Thanks Avantronica
It('s pretty anoying but logical… the sad part is about parameters slides who will miss a lot… But maybe sacrifying an MD track will be my solution

If you use macros, you can control several parameters with 1 CC from OT.
If you’re looking for slides, eventually lfos on A4 or midi lfos from OT.

That is to say? Midi slides on MD?

Ahh Allright ! Pas bête ça effectivement !
Nice idea about CC macro.

Yes exactly. But anyway I will have a problem because I play from an arp in the OT. :frowning:

Don’t know what kind of slides you’d like but I’d try A4 lfos, eventually control of their depth / multiplier with CCs…
