think the OT will get it?
sorry, i mean trig conditions
Not going to happen, I’m afraid. Elektron have been pretty clear on it.
Look a the bright side though, the superior Octatrack master race had the “fill function” before the Overbridge generation!
Didn’t someone confirm OT development is dead now? Just bug fixes now if I recall…bummer but seems that’s how it is ![]()
Maybe there should be a sticky thread at the top of the OT sub forum? Constantly seeing people hoping for new features. I was hopeful too when I first grabbed my OT, but someone posted something about elektron confirming no updates a couple of months a go, that put it to bed for me. Might be an idea for a sticky post for the benefit of new users. Save them the pain of longing ![]()
Edit - @automageddon no idea why/how I just quoted your post. Didn’t even notice it was above what I was writing in the Form! I need to wake up…
There is no public confirmation that the OT will not receive new features. Just as there is no public confirmation that the MD and MM will not receive new features.
The closest to a public source was from another thread, where forum member Novosonic reported a conversation with Cenk in October 2015 without clearly stating whether it was his or Cenk’s perception that there would be no new features:

Of course, it’s clear that new features for MD, MM, and OT are not high on Elektron’s priorities, and we can each draw our own conclusions about what the future holds for those instruments.
Not to pick nits but, OT OneShots are not quite the same.
The Fill trig type has both on and off. In other words, it is possible to set a trig to either be ON when the Page button is held and it is passed, or OFF.
Cenk gave a good example of how this might be used in the video when he had the kicks drop away when the snare fill came in (or something).
