For my live set I’ve got 6 backing tracks that are about an hour long…they are all the same length, size and tempo. I’ve also locked the tempos in the Edit window. I trigger all six tracks via the step sequencer on bar 1: beat 1 then quickly take the triggers off manually (so the audio files keep playing forward as the OT resets to bar 1). I’ve also set the master length to “INF”.
For the first 5 to 10 minutes everything is fine…then a track or two will begin to drift out of time followed by some of the audio files reading other audio files in the pool. Been trouble shooting this for a couple days and nothing seems to be working and the problems aren’t consistent, meaning different tracks and audio files start messing up and I’m not seeing a pattern. I’ve also tried taking off time stretch as well (all tracks are at 120 BPM).
So my question is, what’s the best way to sequence 6 very long tracks simultaneously without any issues?
