Hi,
I have a Digitakt 2 and a Digitone 2. Both devices are connected in Logic Pro 11 via Overbridge. I created two summing tracks for each device. Each a summing tracks, one for the Digitakt and one for the Digitone. Each summing track holds all 21 channels (main, 1-6, Delay, Reverb, Chorus, Audio In) for each these device. All tracks can be recorded in Logic Pro. But there is a very disturbing issue with this setup.
I make a sequence, I hit Play in Logic and both DT and DN are playing and I can hear the all the audio coming out of Logic. Perfect. If all is what I want, I hit Record in Logic Pro, the Digitakt and Digitone start playing and all tracks are recorded in Logic Pro. I stop the recording when finished.
At this point in the process, I hit Play again to listen back what all is recorded. But I not only hear the recorded audio, I also hear the audio from both the Digitakt and Digitone. Disabling all input track monitoring stops passing through the audio from the still playing Digitakt and Digitone. Once is ok but having to do this multiple times is very annoying and a disruption in my workflow. And when I want to record again, I need the input monitoring on again to listen. And this for both the Digitone and Digitakt. The Record and Input monitoring buttons on the summing track do not trigger the Record and Input monitoring buttons on each subtrack.
I do not want to be bothered with this every time I want to record or playback. Am I missing something in my setup? Do you have a suggestion on how to improve this and eliminate the additional disabling and re-enabling the input monitoring on all these tracks?
