Hi. I was wondering if anyone have the experience using the AR as a sound module for Roland e-drum midi controller? I am specially interested in how it would respond to the open/close hihat cc-message ( CC4-Foot control)?
i did try with a yamaha and it works pretty fine (can’t remember of any particular issues with the hi-hat though 
) this is something i recorded at the time, just hitting the pads here and there 
So you connected them using a Midi cable?
yep, MIDI Out from e-drum to AR MIDI In. the hihat should send different messages (one for open and one for closed) so you can address two different tracks on the AR
