Play AK/A4 with AR, aftertouch?

Can I play the AK/A4 with aftertouch by using the pads of the AR? In ableton this can be done with the ‘pad pressure’, and a max app,

I try… but nu success yet

you can toggle on/off various midi output, check that, but keep in mind the AR works on 12 different channels, so you’d need to do some midi plumbing to make it useful

i tried many settings, but didn’t experience any aftertouch yet.
anyone? or is this impossible?

A sound on the A4 can receive and be modulated by aftertouch (aka channel pressure) but the AR pads sends poly pressure.

So, it’s not possible.

aha, hadn’t checked, but as pointed out they are transmitted on a poly pressure basis (handy) so ignore ^ this
