Plate reverb broken on T1

So, a new project, all tracks having plate reverb on fx2, all tracks pointing to same sample slot. T1 goes silent with mix turned to full, all the other tracks have reverb audible.

Anyone else confirm? Latest OS

Can’t check. Don’t you have different gate settings for that track? (GATE / GVOL in Setup page)

Tested. Everything working fine just as it should. Send and mix mode.

Couldn’t replicate your issue, but I did discover a new trick I will use for future tracks! Thanks!

What’s the new trick?!

Thanks all.

Reverb on T1 came back when I turned on OT this time. Must have been a carry-over glitch/user error from previous project.

Will power cycle AND new project next time I want to test!

While here. Some DAMP is the insta fix to the horrible default plate sound

EDIT: I know the OT’s fx aren’t really on ‘defaults’ more like ‘opened up’ settings but I kinda wish the reverbs were dialled in as something

Powercycling often fixes weird behaviour. I really should put a sign on the wall behind my desk to remind me in case of Octa acting weird not to fiddle around with settings but instead just powercycle the machine^^
Will probaply save an hour or two during the year.

New trick you say ?

Maybe a secret trick. :content:
As you seem needing one : you can use gate reverb as a (dirty) noise gate fx
Mix set to max, decay to min.
Add a Neighbor track with filter / delay for dynamic dub fx or whatever.
I don’t like OT reverbs except Dark Reverb, which is not great.

Very secret. Much Power.
