Not really circuit bent, but I did tap the chip for separate and direct output to square waves on one, triangle/noise/samples on the other.
I then routed those to basic volume pots.
Repainted the top.
Running Midines 1.1

One of my favorite synths. The parameters seem limited but they are unlike any other synth.

Sound runs from NES to MD inputs (both) and I can effect each channel separately. It does however take 7 full tracks of MD to fully run it (5 midi control, 2 inputs), and I really could use more midi ctrl if I wanted to be able to fully tweak everything.

Actually no bug, I am using my cheeks with 2 PL-1s. The trick is to mount thick washers between the cheek and the machine.
