for some reason (watched endless tutorials) I can not set the length (by prssing REC AB or REC CD) or stop the REC/PB by REC CD).
It is absolutely not behaving as it should (?)

What “length” do you mean? “RLEN” in “Recording Setup 1”?
What do you mean as “can not”. Do you rotate the knob, but value on the screen doesn’t change?
Maybe there is not enough memory given for desired length or some other problems with memory config?
I van statt the Loop Sequenzer but i van sctually Not Loop or overdub: the left field just stays with “—” no matter which Rec button I press!
Somebody a clue whats the problem?
Without seeing your recording setup page its impossible to see what the issue could be in the pic you posted it appears your pickup machine is recording (the littlee + under the P is present) what source are you recording and can you see levels at the AB CD inputs for them?
RLen isn’t for pickup machines I don’t think.
