Pickup machine with logidy pedal issue

Having a pickup machine issue when using a pedal and I can’t tell what is causing it. here is my setup

Logidy UMI3 USB footswitch (A=60, B=64 C = 71)
Kenton USB Midi Host Mk2
Octatrack in pickup machines on tracks 1 and 2

When I am on Track one’s pickup machine, everything works perfectly and is great

HOWEVER

when I try to record using the pickup machine on track 2, as soon as I hit the switch, it goes back to track one.
I’ve tried this on every other track and each time I hit the pedal to record, it automatically goes back to track 1 and uses the pick up machine. I have no idea what is causing this. I have tried putting auto channel on 9 and 11, and even 13. I know it says be sure to turn on auto channel but as far as I know it is always on.

Any help would be super appreciated

you need to send your notes on the auto channel, not midi channel 1
