Pickup Machine sync and Turbo MIDI

With all the recent Elektron releases, is there any hope of anyone inside Elektron looking at the Octatrack?

The reason for asking is that I was reading through the Octatrack manual at lunch the other day and came across the Turbo MIDI setting description. I remembered from a real ticket I submitted that Elektron decided not to have Pickup Machines slave to incoming clock because it was too unstable.

However, the Turbo MIDI setting states that the 10x speed boost improves clock stability, so I wonder if an Octatrack slaved to another Turbo-MIDI box could be stable enough to have slave Pickup Machines.

Even with the limited set of it being another Elektron box as the clock master, it still could be a solution for some folks.

I didn’t try with Turbo but without overdub it worked. I didn’t try enough to say if its totally reliable.
I prefer to play recordings with Flex anyway. You can use them to overdub slaved.
