my setup is:
T1 = thru
T2 = thru
T3 = thru
T4 = thru
T5 = flex
T6 = neighbor
T7 = neighbor
T8 = main.
I setup T5 to record the loop on src3 for main. When I record T5 doesn’t output a sound even if AED shows the waveform. T7 somehow outputs the loop but not all of it, just the audio from T1 and T2…
Questions:
How do I get rid of the loop on T7
There is a waveform on the AED for recording buffer 5 , how come it’s not outputing into the audio?
On OT a neighbor track forces the audio to get routed into it, it kind of steal the audio from previous track.
A neighbor track holds the control over the volume level: if you mute it or set the volume to zero, you won’t hear any sound.
So it’s normal T5 doesn’t output any sound.
If you’ve set the recorder track R5 behind T5 to record the master, and T5 Flex track to play the recording buffer 5, you should have T7 outputing the recorded audio.
Which means R5 record itself. I don’t know if this is what you really want.
In the AED editor, there are two cursors in the bottom: one shows the recording head, the lower one the playing head.
If you see the waveform, you should at least have the recording head moving.
