I’ve wanted a PerFourmer for years.
I have a few good PerFourmer sample packs.
Should I get one? Or just make do with my samples?
I’m not really into synthesis, but I love its sound.
I used to have a PerFourmer, and it sounded so beautiful. Ultimately though it follows a certain workflow that may be a deal breaker for you. The 4 channels are independent of each other, meaning you can’t route the LFO from channel 1 to effect something on channel 4. This turns it into a pretty basic mono synth, just times 4. You can create different sequences between the channels because of this, but again, is this the workflow that you want? I sold mine since I prefer just to have a mono synth with a keyboard.
