Performance stand for Digitakt

Hey, I’m using the DT with Arturia Keystep, would like to add a Waldorf Blofeld.

I cannot for the life of me find a stand for live performance (not desktop, not table, a stand) that could accommodate such a setup.

Closest I’ve seen is: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MediaTray2

But from adding up the dimensions, this could not accomodate a digitakt and blofeld side by side behind the keystep.

Am I an idiot? Is there an obvious solution to this like a keyboard stand with a sturdy pegboard? That just does not feel as sturdy to me to as a tripod stand with a large platform, but most of them seem to meant for laptops.

Edit: I’m probably an idiot and should just get a small folding table from Target.

Edit: Lo and behold…a metal utility tray https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BWM5DVU/ref=s9_acsd_zgift_hd_bw_bXEHm7_c_x_w?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-8&pf_rd_r=S6JF6M2D8N3C0312H20S&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=c889d048-0eaf-5f4b-a43b-6b31076adc94&pf_rd_i=491024011

And it all seems like money down the toilet.

Edit 2: No, that’s not a sturdy long-term solution. Could get adjustable two-tier keyboard stand: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/XStdDbl2TF and leave the blofeld on the floor with my pedals and rely on digitakt for controlling the blofeld.

@jefones, saw that, but does not meet my dimension requirements. Will probably go with x-style stand and metal tray.

Even when the tray is expanded?

Fails depth requirement by half an inch. X stand and utility tray less likely to tip over but also deeper by 5"…and a single X stand (not the double) and the metal tray in tandem are cheaper than the utility stand by $6!!

That utility tray is rad, I think I may order one or two myself. I’ve got a couple x stands laying around, the tray would make them perfect for groove boxes.

I’m not sure I would want the Blofeld on the floor. Pedals are meant to be stomped on, Blofelds not so much.

@previewlounge mentioned that Digitakt uses industry standard VESA connections, also used for computer screens and the likes, which may be a cheap option for some

I’ve researched the same problem extensively last Winter:

  • Must hold all my live performance gear
  • Must be stable
  • Must be at the right height. I don’t want to be bending over to play so that all the audience sees is the top of my head!
  • Must be easy to transport to gigs.

This is a tall order, but I ended up with:

You can see me performing with (and my Digitakt), in this short video:

I think it will hold all three of your gear as you implied (DT & Blofeld sided by side with Keystep in front). They also make a 2’ x 4’ one. After a year of dragging it weekly to gigs & rehearsals I’m really happy with it. I also dig the “construction” look of it!

Yeah… You can find it for ~$135 around the net. E-Z Up often runs sales on their site as well.

Mixer? You want a mixer for that table? The small orange glowing box on my table in the video is this little beauty:

(That’s 3 stereo channels, plus stereo aux return!)
