With the unfortunate lack of a comprehensive arranger record mode in any Elektron device, I have often thought about the best way to take notes on performances down in the studio to help memorize wow moments in loose but useful way, so I built a printable A4 template for my particular setup. Tried it and it was good for being able to remember specific tweaks in the performance, so was thinking I could upload the pdf for files if interest was there.

I have the attached set up as A4, & also built an A5 foldable for gig use with just the Trinity.

Beforehand though, & out of interest, am up for any suggestions to simplify or edit, as well as find out what others do regarding this grey art…

global midi slot used … when I am home (MD A4 OT), I use Global Slot 2, when I am out, I use Global Slot 1 for A4 and MD

also, I opened a thread here in the forum, the compressor settings in MD are Kit based, not global slot based

Thank you, this just replaced my too-ugly-too-share excel version. I am currently writing a full album using the OT-MD combo as the composition centre and was about to try to lay out everything in the arranger! I owe you a beer or three.

You added midi mapping information for external devices which is rocksolid gold for me. :slight_smile:

Delayed reply… joys of changing internet providers but happy to hear its of use to some, I will upload some Vector pdfs later today.

Husc yes! the midi mapping thing was big part for me, makes it easy at a glance when setting up new song/part/machine structures.

Could probably have added more parameters per machine etc but for my uses thats enough to remember for most situations.
