Performance Mode knob position in Songs

I recently picked up an Analog Four mk1. I love it, but something is confusing me.

If I have a song comprised of multiple chains of different patterns, which all use the same kit, what dictates the saved knob position of the performance knobs?

Does changing them auto save, do they save in the chain, or in the pattern? I can’t seem to figure it out.

Hi. AFAIK it is save with the kit.

I know the mapping is saved with the kit, but is the starting position of the knob also saved?

I’ll test that out when I get a chance.

Yes, the knob position is saved, and recalled on reload.
