NONE of them could power 2 Digi boxes, despite saying they had the rating, which, fine, ok. But none of them could even power a Digi box and a Faderfox EC4. How is that possible when these things are so beefy?
I have this INIU model & a birdcord n it’s hit or miss for me. I only use 1 elektron at a time but it frequently turns off mid session / just after booting. could it be the birdcord is at fault?
I see USB-A connectors… how can that be Power Delivery?
The powerbank only offers 5V 3A max, that translates to 15W more or less. The DT is happy with 12V 1.1A. The OT with even less.
Post the exact powerbank and cables please
Edit: oh my eyesight. Oc they are usb-c
Have a multimeter at hand?
As I’m currently building a powerhub for my stuff, I’m a little into USB-PD. I’ve measured several USB-C-devices. The 12V they offer is between 11,3V and 12,6V, therefore you should take a look what actually comes out at the DC port.
I’m running mostly on internal batteries with OT and DT2, but when I use sth else, I bring my omnicharge, it can provide 3-24V in 0.1V increments. Can absolutely recommend it.
USB PD, AC 100W, USB-A, DC barrel.
I do have to power up devices one at a time. I mostly use DT2 and Micromonsta 2 with this battery bit I do use the OT and DT2 together and it works fine. It last around 3 hours with 2 Elektron devices. Once the battery is below 25% I have had the DT reset on me. There is a 140w 27000mah version for a bit more I might try also.
Many power banks change the wattage they can supply dependent on number of items connected, especially PD ones - eg, the high-wattage PD output may drop its power output when a second device is connected. What does the manual for the power bank say? (This is also true of multi-output PD mains adaptors).
