Patterns not pasting

I’ve been searching threads to see if anyone else has had this problem and the manual doesn’t give me an indication of what I’m doing wrong.

I’ve no problem copying and pasting individual tracks, track pages and trigs etc but I can’t get the patterns to paste. I’m following the manual by inactivating grid, I choose the pattern holds it and press rec til I get amessage saying ‘pattern copied’ as usual, then i select the new pattern I wasnt to paste to, hold it and press stop to paste. I’m aware that I need to release the pattern trig 1st and i even get the message saying ‘pattern pasted’. Yet… nothing, no trigs pasted, just still a blank pattern.

Anyone know what I’m doing wrong here?

Are you using the latest firmware. Sure this was a bug that got squished

holding paste for long enough ? - countdown has to fully elapse, at least in on the fly copy/pasting

Yea you were right, for some reason I thought you had to hold it then release the pattern before releasing paste. Strangely though it was saying ‘pattern pasted’ before but not pasting it. Just holding it down until it pastes works better.

Yeah you should see 4 squares that count down I think. Not in front of mine atm
