A project contains 128 patterns and 128 kits. There are two approaches :

  • each pattern refers to a different kit (a one-to-one arrangement). In this situation there will be no unattached kits (all kits will be attached, each to a single pattern).

  • more than one pattern can refer to the same (single) kit. This arrangement is useful when you want a song to consist of several patterns, but want to use the same sounds across all of these patterns (#). Thus naturally, there will be one or more unattached kits.

(#) Be aware that editing the sounds in a shared kit will affect all patterns that make use of this kit.
