Pattern mode problem

Hello I’m trying to change two parts of a song thru pattern mode.
The problem it’s that when I’m in pattern one (example harmony 1 + beat 1 ) and then I push “ptn” and select pattern 2 (harmony 2 + beat 1) they play the pattern one and pattern two at the same times. Someone know why?

You sound a little confused in your use of terminology.

Is it that you have a looped sample that continues playing after you change pattern?

Yes, sorry for my English :slight_smile:

On my pattern one I have activated tracks 1,2,3,4 and on pattern two I have activated tracks 2,3,4 and 5 but even if I don’t have activated the track one on pattern two you can hear it, but if I stop and play again I hear what I want (only 2,3,4,5)

What is on track 1?

A long sample of 10 secs aprox with a piano chord.

Edit. On track 1 and 5 I have two different chords. And I set that pattern one play the beat with the chord of track 1 and I put that pattern 2 make the same but without track 1 and instead of track 1 I activated track 5 that have a different chord. But when I change one sample plays over the other (if I stop and play again plays as I want)

I want to can change the chord when I want and not have the limitation of in for example 4 bars need to change

I hope it’s possible to make this

By memory, you can set loop on ‘off’ for track 1 (double tap SRC).
Then on pattern 2, go to pattern settings (Function + Pattern) and set track 1 on start silent ‘YES’. Is that what you’re looking for?

Oh sorry not yet

now when I go to pattern one to the two work great, but when I go to pattern2 to one the chords get over each other
