Mainly writing this here as this is a feature I’d love to see implemented in the future, unless there is a trick I’m unaware of? Or I have blind-idly looked it over on the manual… 
While jamming I’d love to be able to create a pattern from scratch while another is playing. In a live jam environment, something like this would be amazing.
Perhaps this is something too far out of reach for the AR? In any case I absolutely love this beast of a machine.
