Hi all,
I set my Digitakt II pattern length to a custom value (e.g. 64 or 128 steps), but the pattern doesn’t loop correctly at that length. Instead, it seems to restart earlier (like at 32 steps).It is on a four page loop set the firt page trig1 .
Is this a known issue? Shouldn’t the pattern loop exactly at the set length?

if i get you right, it seems like you are talking about track length (per track mode), not pattern length (per pattern mode). in the page setup menu, when you choose per track mode, you have to adjust pattern reset too. if you set it to INF, it works as i think you want and always loops depending on the track length you set.
manual page 46: “RESET (Pattern Reset) controls the number of steps the pattern plays before all tracks resets and restarts from the first step on the first page. An INF setting makes the tracks of the pattern loop infinitely, without ever being restarted. Note that this setting also affects for how long the active pattern plays before a chained pattern starts playing.” i suggest to read the whole page for further information! 
Kind of sounds like you’ve engaged page loop (or whatever it’s called)
