What’s the method for having certain channels active (or muted) when you switch to a new pattern? Regardless of what state I end with on the the one that’s been playing, so that when the new pattern begins it’s in a particular arrangement every time.
I do this by setting global track trig probability to 0% for all the tracks I want muted when I switch into a specific pattern. I do this both on Syntakt & Rytm MKI. Only caveat with this technique is that if your trigs contain conditrigs, they’ll still play back regardless of current global trig probability value…
Another way to do this would be to pick a gain stage on the track, and saving that to a zero value; then as the pattern plays, set it back to 100 by FUNC+turning the encoder (you might want to mute the track before doing this, and then unmuting, if you dont want the sound to gradually creep in)
You might also use MUTE TRIGS in case you don’t use them in other way. Then slide your fingers across the MUTE TRIGS to unmute. Not practical if you use more than 1 page of trigs and / or if you need to unmute more than one track at time.
