Pattern Change mode will not select

Hi all,

I’m having issues with my AK in that I am unable to switch the pattern change (jump) mode to sequential, so the change waits until current pattern has completed. When hitting FUNCTION+BANK GROUP, I’m able to cycle through the options but when I get to sequential and leave it, the box disappears; this does not actually select the option, nor does yes. Why the hell does Elektron make things so difficult…there is a yes button that confirms choices…why does it not confirm choice if pattern change mode?
Anyhow, is anyone able to offer help?

DId you ever get this resolved? I’m having the exact same problem on my A4mkII and it’s driving me nuts. Read the manual, searched the web to no avail. Even clearing the pattern doesn’t change the behavior…

The option is selected once you see the word “ptn: sequential” on the screen. There is no need to confirm it with a yes.

And you know that the pattern change mode is sequential when the light beneath the DIRECT CHANGE button (used to change these modes) is not on. The color of the LED light is the confirmation.

No light = Sequential
Green light = Direct Jump
Red light = Direct Start

Using the “no” command clears the screen, which would otherwise auto-clear after some seconds. But the “no” command does not undo the selection.
